Behind the podcast

Undistorted Self is where I take the concepts we accepted too quickly and adapted to without discernment — the roles we perform, the rules we inherited, the patterns we normalized, the versions of ourselves we learned to become — and slow them down enough to break down what is actually happening.

The podcast looks at the adaptations you may not have questioned and gives you a new way to see them.

It moves through distortion in two parts: first, seeing the false structure clearly; then, giving you back agency so you can transform from what you now see.

It is personal, reflective, direct, and honest. A space for naming what shaped you, what it has been costing you, and what becomes possible when your life is no longer built around a lie.

A young woman with dark hair, wearing a cream-colored dress, lying on a sofa with gray cushions, holding a microphone in one hand, and raising the other arm. She is in a living room with a white wall and a framed picture. A notebook and a pen are on the sofa.

How to listen

The podcast is dense by design.

Every season moves through a specific area of life. Every word is intentionally selected. And every word has two episodes: one to expose the distortion, and one to give you back agency so you can transform what you now see.

I recommend listening to both. Start with the distortion episode first. It trains your perception. It helps you see what you are actually doing, where the distortion is showing up, and what you are trying to transform in the first place.

You do not need to listen perfectly, finish everything in order, or apply everything at once. Use the podcast as a tool. Choose the word that feels most relevant, take notes, return to specific sections, and come back when your life gives you a new reason to hear the episode differently.
